Your eyes do not deceive you. This headphone amplifier is built into a Penguin tin. I think that’s pretty darn cool, myself, and so do a lot of other people who’ve bought amps of this type. Or built them.

The circuit this amplifier uses, you see, was invented by a chap called Chu Moy, who published it here, for anyone to build or improve upon.

Chu created a monster. So-called “CMoy” amps spread like wildfire through the audio-twiddler world. With good reason; they’re based on a simple operational amplifier chip, need few other components, run happily from a simple nine volt battery for a long time, and sound really good. The only effects that I used was the MXR Phase 90 in front of the amp (kicked it on for a “few” seconds at one point) & a Boss Digital Delay set for a subtle, “reverb-like” sound in the FX loop. Other than that, the sound is all the guitar & amp. 5150RDH

Key Drums “BOOM”

I know it’s not typically seen, but there are many people who have posted videos playing Key Drums. People use Key Drums in studio recordings, but there are still nuances that can only be caught on an acoustic set. My intent is not to replace drummers, because I play acoustic myself, but I don’t think I would do as well on acoustic as I do on Key Drums at the moment. I’m just sharing a talent I have. Glad you liked the video.

Hey guys, due to the lack of a right handed bass, the sections with no guitars playing looked rather boring with me just standing there, that’s pretty much why I recorded myself playing along to the drum track even though the drums you hear are quite obviously the synthesized ones This was probably my biggest cloning fail as well due to my mother who slightly knocked the camera when she interupted my recording!! D: but oh well, its the music your here for. Enjoy!

In a nutshell, I am a guitar player who can cover a wide range of styles who loves to experiment with different ideas in music to produce unique music. My older ones have more views but they are of a lesser quality and standard (you can tell which ones I mean by the whining in the video description haha!) I currently have my Grade 8 in guitar with the Trinity College of Music, and my Grade 5 music theory with the ABRSM. I am currently working towards my AVCM diploma .
